Invited: Your Journey into the Catholic Church

Invited: A new program created by Ascension Press to explore the Catholic Faith

Invited was created with the conviction that OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) should make disciples, not just deliver doctrine. Following the approach recommended by the Directory of Catechesis, the kerygma anchors the whole process.

Kerygma: The core, initial proclamation of the Christian Gospel message:
1) God's love story for mankind,
2) the problem of man’s sin,
3) salvation in Jesus Christ, and
4) the call to response.

Three priorities shaped the curriculum: fidelity to Church teaching, accessibility for those new to the Faith, and genuine formation of the whole person—mind, heart, and soul.
